Everybody wants to know where the market’s going. My last prediction was an increase by year end as people try to get their rebate, then more downward pressure, possibly a lot more, still to come. That looks to be the case, which is fine if you know what to expect.

The S&P Home Price Indices came out today, and has the latest numbers from the top 20 markets.
No surprise, the report shows that most of the nation continues its downward pricing trend.
We are now almost 27% off our peak in 2006, which puts our prices back to 2003 levels.
